Hey y'all!

Money is deserately needed at:

Camp Wesley Pines
P.O. Box 307
Gallman, Mississippi 39077

They are currently housing almost 300 hurricane victims at the campgound. Currently, they have enough food, ice, water, but will be needing supplies. They need toys, books, etc., anything you can think of you would need if you were displaced.

Another shelter I am working with has an immediate need for X-Large men's t-shirts. I will be working there when I leave my full-time job every day to help feed these hurricane victims. They have two of the cutest new born babies there!

PLEASE KNOW THAT THESE REQUESTS ARE LONG TERM AND NOT SHORT TERM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just left a church that is feeding the Kentucky Power Company lunch today and if you could have seen all the food, it would just HAVE JUST warmed your heart. I cooked pinto beans with all the fatback and stuff and hot cornbread in butter. I made the decision this is not the time to tell people to eat healthy and this is what most southern people eat, so that is what they got. So, I will save the healthy eating education for another day.

You can give blood. People are in hospitals EVERYWHERE in Mississippi and need blood. We have friends who own Mary Mahoney's Restaurant on the coast and they were trying to save their restaurant. A copperhead swam in and bit one and flying debris hit the other one and they both ended up in the hospital.

Another friend, who is in charge of PR at the Beau Rivage Casino, will be paid for 90 days and then will NOT have a job for at least a year. What happens to him?

Currently, I am working on another project to "Adopt A Person" from The Racquet Club apartment complex in Gulfport, Ms. It is one of our properties and so many people lost everything they had and had no renter's insurance and need help. Let me know if you are interested.

On a lighter note, I began cleaning up my own yard and I was raking away until I raked over three snakes and I left that project quickly to return to another day.......

Paulette
