If I were to follow my own authority, which I have in the past, I would still be in a great heap of pain and confusion. If I ever come up with a way to explain what I meant, I will share it. The best I come up with is the fact that I recognize what my personal "authority" is, and it's not that great. I also recognize what I "get" as something outside of myself. Yes, I know that sounds weird. But it is very obvious, to me. If I ever get a better explination I will attempt to share it.

What did you mean by the bible being "objective"? Objective isn't the word I would think to use!
