is by far... our most important role...
the kingdome of heaven is at hand...
which part do you not understand...

it's up to each individual... to seek...
doesn't matter stong... or weak...
God's within us... everyone...
to find Him for oneself... is fun...

preachers and teachers... from our course dissuade...
that makes us glum... and feeling jade...
the excitement of finding truth within...
is where i think it should begin...

but who am i... to tell you where to look...
you found your answers in a book...
instead sitting by a brook...
to find God everywhere you look...

i would not trade places... with any man...
for i alone... know where i stand...
and i alone... feel love in me...
i alone... know i am free...

the time has come for me to go...
should i return... i do not know...
to find the happiness... that is mine...
i live my life... one heartbeat at a time...
