I bought whey protein mix and an egg protein mix but I quit using them because on the raw food diet, you don't eat any animal products or by-products..usually. As far as I know whey is the sludge and waste product of dairy cheese making. They used to just wash it down the drains, but found that it's high in protein, etc.etc.

I liked the whey protein, better than soy or egg when I was drinking it. I dislike soy very much, and it's use is controverial.
