Well, in my case I've had to get someone to move in her house to take care of her. This has been going on now for two years and it's not working out all that great. It is expensive as the person consumes many of the household items and still they have to be paid a small but significant salary. There are many problems in trying to accomodate someone from outside into a household.
I will be faced with the decision to place her somewhere out of the home, but she fights hard against the idea. What makes it even more difficult is I'm an only child, so there's no one else to share the responsability/decisions with.
