Don't use the F-bomb, lest ye be damned on this forum. Al Franken is a personal friend of mine. We used to grill pork burgers in the backyard together, smoking cigars, drinking home-brew, and discussing the damnation of humankind in the light-hearted manner so common to us liberals.

We shared our mutual hatred of Mr. L in a number of comical ways. I once posted a photo of Mr. L on my garage and proceeded to shoot out its forehead with a 22 pistol. Mr. Franken then tore down the target, covered it with mayonnaise, and then fed it to his Rat Terrier. Afterward, his sweet little dog suffered a terrible diarrhea the day after, in an attempt to expunge the evil from his bowels.

To this day, we have a great relationship. Mr. Franken runs for office, while I sit here posting messages on this forum. He calls me and lets me know how politics is treating him. I watch old re-runs of Saturday Night Live, where he is trying to sell pennies as certified Abraham Lincoln medallions. It works for both of us.
