In my opinion all we can do is honour them as they experience their path, not unlike how decent parents honour their children as they learn to walk. Learning is experiencial and so is spirituality. One must learn and synthesize. It cannot be force fed. To do so would cause resistence and resentment.

So it becomes important to walk the talk and people lacking a particular experience (distinction) may pick up on it.
