I enjoyed your post. I see spritual dysfuntion as a disease. As Gandhi put it, we must become the change we want to see in the world. I couldn't agree more.

I think seeing other viewpoints is a valuable excercise as it serves several functions.
It can serve as contrast to see what you don't want (moving away from) and it can help mirror things that cause discomfort in us (things that need to be healed).
