The "energy" they get by mixing.

So they start of with a solution of something in water. They mix it up (supposedly this transfers the energy of the substance into the water).

Then they dilute it.

Then they mix it.

....

and so on, until the solution is so dilute that there are no atoms left of the original material. All you are left with is the "energy" of the substance in the water. Only Science does not allow energy to be stored in this way. Mixing up a substance in water does not imprint it. Water has no memory.

Homeopaths attribute magical mystical qualities to H20. That just by shaking it can remember the substance it contained. Not only that but it can pass this information on to the human body - long after the original substance was removed. And finally that the human body can use this knowledge to heal itself.

It sounds ridiculous. Even then I would be willing to buy it if it could be demonstrated experimentally that the pills were having an effect. But they can't. And to anyone who says they can, I say I will believe it when you claim the $1 million John Randi prize.
