I was raised in the milk state of Wisconsin, but in my thirties I came to the (wise?) conclusion that dairy foods are detrimental in many ways. Now, in my sixties, I've recently started to take half a cup of Stonyfield Farms organic yogurt in the morning before the rest of my breakfast (cooked whole grain cereal, home-made whole wheat bread, etc.). Although I know that fruit should be eaten separately, I've been adding ripe banana and blueberries to the yogurt, and it does taste good. No other sweetening necessary.

It's the only dairy food I eat. Guess the hype about calcium (even though I eat a lot of kale, etc.) got to me! Have there been any studies that show that not even yogurt is good for us? If so, I can easily give it up...again. Thanks.
