Hey Drof, Ron, it's time to wake up and leave the middle ages behind, old man. You remind me of that type of medieval person who would stubbornly not let go of the idea that the earth is not flat. You can come up with whatever cynical reasons to assure yourself that kudzu and body-cleansing techniques won't work, but really, you're just hiding under a rock, and you're also setting a very bad example for all of us know-it-all youngsters.
So far everything you've said has been cut and pasted from other sources. See if you can come up with your own thoughts, for a change. You're just another one of those non-thinking, old-cranky followers who pays lipservice to a cult. You've been in pain so long, it's probably the only thing you know. When people are scared of change, they cling to the things they know, even if those things ultimately hurt them. For you to actually start trying new things and changing, is apparently just too much for you to handle right now. Maybe you've got some very good reasons for that. But you shouldn't be surprised if you find yourself and your weak AA mumbo-jumbo becoming more and more obsolete. Why'd you come to curezone, anyway?
Young people will not stand for the AA smokescreen once they begin to figure out there are more direct and effective ways to deal with alcoholism. That's why many of us came to curezone. Perhaps my comments here would be more welcome on the alcoholic-alternative forum, but really, your fossilized AA-ideology doesn't belong on a place like curezone, to begin with. Curezone is a place for people who aren't happy with the mainsteam, and, you, old man, and your mealy-mouthed AA cult are definitely an indivisible part of the medically repressive american mainstream.
But don't worry: I'm leaving this forum and will continue to post on the "AA alternative" forum on curezone. You can continue to croon about your crocodile "tears of humility" all you like, but in the end, please remember that your AA mental-fortress -- a.k.a. "drama labyrinth" -- has become obsolete.
The elephants are bustin' loose, Pops!
