Hi, Thank you for your well thought out response. There is some very important information in there which bears closer investigation.
Though I don't necesarly suffer from the classic symptoms of depression, I am interested in what you discovered. I may simply have developed different coping mechanisms to deal with stress, like sleep with the TV on so I can lull my mind to rest for brief periods. Maybe without these different defenses I may have showed a more depressed state.
Interestingly, the other thing which I have started is taking B vitamins and B12 sub-lingual. I read somewhere that alcohol consumption inhibits the absorption of these vitamins as well as C. When you mentioned Tryptophane/Protein/Serotonin I remembered that the B's play a big part in protein absorption and nervous system support.
" The B-complex vitamins are actually a group of eight vitamins, which include thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid (B9), cyanocobalamin (B12), pantothenic acid and biotin. These vitamins are essential for:
The breakdown of carbohydrates into glucose (this provides energy for the body)
The breakdown of fats and proteins (which aids the normal functioning of the nervous system)
Muscle tone in the stomach and intestinal tract
Skin
Hair
Eyes
Mouth
Liver "
here's the link, there are quite a few pages of info there:

Anyhow this has made a miraculous change in how I feel, my level of energy and overall well being. So, maybe there is a connection there.
Anyhow, as for the Briar Rose, I just went directly from the initial post from dath at the allergy forum:
//www.curezone.org/forums/m.asp?f=50&i=572
Dath posted all the info that I then thought was of much interest here on this forum.
It was news to me about the adrenal/alcohol connection. The info on the link made sense, so if the Briar Rose boosted his adrenals enough to cure his allergies I think it is definitely something to be considered.
As for liver cleansing, I have done a couple only, but you are right, I need to do many more to really help things along.
Well you have given me food for thought, and inspiration to keep going.
Keep posting your progress, and will do the same.
Isn't this site the best?
