When I first told my wife that I was an alcoholic, the first words out of her mouth was "No you aren't!" No spouse wants to think that they married a sot. It's natural for them to feel that way.

It's funny, I haven't had a drink in a few 24 hours and my wife still thinks I did it on self will. She doesn't understand the program, she doesn't understand the steps, she doesn't have to.
It's not important that she understand how this deal works, but it's critical that I do.
