First of all, the purpose of a debate is for the two sides to present data to each other to support their respective views. When you say that I’m not looking at the other side of the AIDS debate, I could say the same about you.

I retract my statement that “in all studies done, people with AIDS were also infected with HIV.” Even if it was possible for me to list references to every study done showing that people with AIDS have HIV, I would have no way to prove that my list was complete.

== 1 == "HIV ruled not the cause of AIDS."
These papers deal with showing that HIV causes AIDS:

Piot P. AIDS: a global response. Science 1996; 272: 1855.

It is claimed that HIV doesn't exist, because it hasn't been isolated yet. Well, there is an awful lot of work being done on a virus that doesn't exist:

This paper involves work on isolates of HIV:
Fusion-Competent Vaccines: Broad Neutralization of Primary Isolates of HIV Rachel A. LaCasse, Kathryn E. Follis, Meg Trahey, John D. Scarborough, Dan R. Littman, and Jack H. Nunberg Science 15 January 1999; 283: 357-362 [DOI: 10.1126/science.283.5400.357]

This paper deals with work done to understand how HIV works:
HIV-1 Regulatory/Accessory Genes: Keys to Unraveling Viral and Host Cell Biology Michael Emerman and Michael H. Malim Science 19 June 1998; 280: 1880-1884 [DOI: 10.1126/science.280.5371.1880]

I could list approximately five thousand (5000) more papers solely found on the Science journal website (on PubMED approximately twelve thousand (12,000) were found) that report research done on the HI virus. The Science journal is a peer-reviewed weekly journal, that publishes work done in all fields of science.

As for the single court case that John Cullison provided a link too, this is not strong evidence, if evidence at all. Courts put innocent people in jail, they set murderers free (remember O.J. Simpson?). In many cases, it all depends on the lawyers presenting their case, and the judge presiding over the case, and not really the facts presented.
