Oh no! I am sorry, but please don't give up hope.
Miracles can and do occur every second of every day, so please have faith. I've heard of similar disappointments caused either through actually going through with a termination or even from those who merely took it into serious consideration during the first trimester. I personally believe that this is possibly a way for one to learn from one's possible mistakes or inappropriate actions, and an opportunity to 'right ones wrongs', by taking time to fully comprehend the consequences of these actions, but there's always a time thereafter, when one is forgiven, and given a chance to rectify these too.
Maybe your husband isn't 100% sterile? Or, maybe you may wish to consider sperm donation, so that you can still carry your own baby ... and who knows, this very same baby could choose to return to you! That's what I believe anyway.
Just because your husband can't 'contribute', doesn't mean that you should both spend your lives riddled with guilt and miss out on this amazing miracle and gift from heaven.
Please have faith - put the past behind you and move forward.
God bless and grant you both your dreams and desires!
