I was with a friend in his car at the front of my house, about sunset on a Saturday, I think it was Autumn. We were deciding where to go. In the near distance facing East from an Eastern Melbourne suburb, we both saw this really fast moving light- it came up on a 45degree angle out from past the tree line and facing south(of Melbourne)- about what seemed to be 50-100metres into the air- it seemed to be atleast 500m away. With no particular shape, kind of a streched oblong oval, it was a green coloured light(kind of a surreal alien green or toxic green, quite illuminated)- and as it slowed the lag of light from had shrunk, then it descended back down facing south until it dissapeared passed the tree line. The whole episode lasted i think about 15-20seconds I was in Doncaster East,looking in the direction of Donvale. I know it's not the usual unexplained sighting details, but it's what we saw!
