Hi Elaine my doctor is in Syracuse N.Y. Doctor Sherry Rogers M.D. A darn good doctor! In her book No More Heartburn on page 94 she says that if a person takes Pepto-Bismol 2 caplets 4 times a day that in most cases a 2 week regimen will be sufficient to kill it.If you want more info e-mail me back.
