This is one type of detox bath. It's intention is to remove acids. Here's a suggested bath from my colonic clinic:

The following are some suggestions that may help alleviate some of the uncomfortable detox symptoms:
Try taking a lukewarm bath with 1 cup of Epsom Salts and/or 1 cup of raw apple vinegar (Omega brand is highly recommended). In a warm bath, add salts/vinegar and soak for 20-30 minutes.
