I was working walking distance 10 minutes away from the WTC. I was pregnant 6 months, so I worked 2 more months after the collapse of the WTC. The air had a smell from the WTC debris.

Lately I found out about the asbestos expsoure that can edanger people and cause them cancer even after 30 - 40 years. Also I was informed that asbestos that was inhaled to the lungs can't be removed, and it stays there and its fatal, can cause fatal lung disease that can cause death within 1 year, while the doctors don't have any cure.

What can I do about this? Can I remove any asbestos I might breathed? Am I doomed?
