Congratulations on day 12.5!!! You know I read somewhere that STRESSED is DESSERTS spelled backwards! I think that is totally ironic considering that when one is living a pure life, turning away from drugs (in my case at least), shunning the "All American Diet", and working so hard to purify our temple, there are times when nothing else will satisfy that "inner demon" who just won't shut up. I never realized HOW MUCH I took pleasure and found comfort in food until I put it aside and decided to begin this healing process. It's only at times like this that you realize just how much time, effort, and enjoyment we humans give/get from our food!!! Every 5-7 minutes there is bound to be a commercial advertising any manner of food you can imagine on any given TV channel, but the ones that get to me the most are the very descriptive commercials on the radio which I had turned to to avoid seeing all those enticing displays of food!!

I completely understand where akashiccc is coming from. If you've read my blog you'll understand why I feel "angry on the inside" and have a tendency towards explosive anger under extreme pressure. I am not voilent either, but I sure do know how to argue, and have been known to hurl a whopper of an insult with the sole intention of injuring the other party in an attempt to protect myself. I totally agree with Zoe that anger management therapy does wonders!!! I have completed a self help program that has ALMOST totally removed my outbursts. On my down days during the cleanse however, push the wrong button and you get what you get! :-( But I do appologize and begin my inner self talk saying "you're stressed, CALM", and it really does help calm me down.

Sorry for such a long post, but this topic peaked my interest and I felt compelled to second everyones feelings and share my own.
