I'm on my day four of my fifth cleanse and i've never used the SWF...during a couple of my cleanses I was religious about taking the tea, but i found that i lost more weight and kept it off when i let my body expel the waste naturally, than with the tea, I even had several BMs of mucoid plaque without tea, which was excellent. After the cleanse, my BMs also changed from once a day or once every two days, to two to three times a day. The other issue I had with using a laxative was after breaking the fast, it took my body several days before I could have a natural BM. That was very discomforting. I should add that all my cleanses have been between 18 and 21 days. That's what works for me, so I alternate with using the teas on some, and then doing cleanses without. You have to find a balance of what works for your body and then stick to it.

I know mine was a long, drawn out answer, but, in answer to your question, yes you can have a successful cleanse without the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) :D...I'm proof of that...I'm down 80 pounds from last year at this time and feeling great!!
