I have always feared that I have edema, but upon explaining my symptoms to my GP he said it's not edema but to cut back on the salt, and that did clear up the problem, because I was eating ALOT of foods high in sodium (frozen dinner, frozen chicken strips, ect.). I really want the effects of the salt water flush, so I will probably try it for a few days, and if the swelling continues, I will have to hang up the towel on it, and stick with the tea.
