Day one on 6-6-6 for me as well. I do these about once every season and I've done around 8 of them so far. This time I'm going for 14 days. Most I've done is 12, but don't anticipate having any problems with the extra days. It's great that you are doing it with your mom. I've done them with my brother and dad before, but bi-coastally. They live in NC and I'm in California. I would LOVE to have somebody to do it with locally! Good luck to you. Nice blog by the way. I'll be keeping up with that as well as Zoebess'. Good stuff! Whew...damn! Just took a big swig of my lemonade and that stuff is SPICY! I guess the extra heat is in tune with the demon day we've started this thing!
