Some experts reccommend distilled water. Some say no because distilled water is "dead". There is also reverse osmosis, ionic, spring water, etc. I don't know what to choose. I don't want to continue to drink well water if it's putting things into my body that I'm trying to get rid of. I've also read that filtering it is bad, too, because of the toxins the filter releases.

Get it tested. If its clear - stick with it.

I use Distilled only. Even spring tastes thick to me now. I find the dead theory and leeching to be bs. It would only be removing the garbage your body hasn't been able to assimilate anyway - saving you from bone spurs, etc.

Don't fall into what I call "Paralysis by over analysis." Filtering is fine - besides distilling, 99% of other cleaning methods involve filters. Do what feels good to you!
