Some experts reccommend distilled water. Some say no because distilled water is "dead". There is also reverse osmosis, ionic, spring water, etc. I don't know what to choose. I don't want to continue to drink well water if it's putting things into my body that I'm trying to get rid of. I've also read that filtering it is bad, too, because of the toxins the filter releases.

Hi Tisha,
I understand the confusion. There's so much info out there, and everyone has a different opinion. Remember to follow your own instincts, and know what works best for your body. Know your body and listen to it!
My understanding is that distilled water is good while you're fasting, but not good to drink all the time. Distilled water helps to pull the toxins from your body. Obviously, you want this while fasting. Some do say, however, that it can cause problems during fasting because of rapid electolyte loss. I didn't experience this problem when I fasted.
I'm not an expert on health by any means. But when I did a seven day fast, I tried to use distilled water most of the time, particularly first thing in the morning. If you're going days without food, it is nice to think you're doing it correctly. FYI, my seven day fast cured my asthma!!!

I believe Richard Schulze suggests 8 oz. of distilled water first thing in the morning. Then pure water during the day. I also feel that getting some type of filtered water in is most important. I've let go of trying to get the perfect solution for everything...you'll make yourself crazy! It is trial and error, and listening to your body.
I'm interested in what others have to say.
Happy health!
KarenMarie
