Hi again,
Well, I don't know how much you've read of my other posts, but, I had my GB removed in Sept. 2001. I didn't do my first cleanse until two weeks after surgery. I was in just as much pain after surgery as I was before, because a stone was still stuck in my common bile duct! I got immediate relief with the first cleanse. After several days, some of my symptoms returned, although they were milder. I had mild discomfort(epigastric area) after eating a meal with fat, and experienced bowel rumbling/gas if I ate fat. Two weeks later I did my second liver cleanse, passing many stones. I have not had a reoccurance of any symptoms since my 2nd cleanse, but have done 6 cleanses total. I've easily passed hundreds and hundreds of pea-green and/or tan-colored floating stones ranging in size from 1.5cm largest to what would be called chaff(grain sized). There are many who still have their gallbladders, who've done the liver cleanse, and prevented surgery. Sometimes it takes only 3 to 5 flushes to "cure" them, some it takes a year of doing cleanses every month. Everyone is different. However, almost all of those I've talked to and read about have gotten relief from the liver cleanse. Dr. Clark says you need to pass 2,000 stones before you're clear. Then, you should do the cleanse twice a year to maintain. It also takes, on your part, a willingness to make dietary changes that can prevent or slow down gallstone formation in the future. Keep reading everything you can on this site, and the testimonials of those who have done the liver cleanse.
Adrienne
