I've been fortunate to not have to take many medications, except antidepressants (more specifically, SSRI's). I was off them for at least a couple of months before re-attempting the MC. Being off them also forces me to listen to my mind and body more diligently. I'm also fortunate that I have been able to cope well (thus far, knock on wood) without them. I would be concerned for anyone who simply cannot live without them when entering their Master-Cleanse journey, especially those with co-symptoms like anxiety, paranoia and thoughts of suicide. While the Master-Cleanse certainly doesn't make ya go 'crazy', those heightenend senses and awareness can be a challenge if you're not mentally prepared.
