I sure soooo agree with you and appreciate that the longer fasts do provide insight that could not be found at days 10 or even 20. That is not to minimize the benefits of doing the cleanse for those lengths of time, just that the longer ones have their benefits too and like so many sages and teachers like Arnold Ehret and Paul Braggs and even Christ, all recommended fasting to get in touch with a deeper comprehension of the soul's inner yearning.

There is of course the detox and rebuilding aspects of the cleanse but for where I wanna go, fasting is the vehicle and has little to do with food choices as much as sweeping out my "temple" and waiting for inspiration and peace to flow.

Naturally, a short cleanse hints that mentally you can integrate giving up food in trade for better digestion, improved elimination, and a feeling of self-empowerment. A longer cleanse leaves you no doubt, and greatly empowers you to own and take responsibility for the choices you make to promote progress or decay....

At day 30, I was still releasing debris, I can only imagine what slime might have slipped from my bum at day 45! It just resolved my will to take it further and prepare for another long cleanse, this one, the full extra mile, and hopefully to a deeper level psychically as well.

Thank you for sharing...it was very inspirational for me. I had to smile too since it is also my habit of drinking a quart of water before hitting the ol' french press....I can recommend a pinch of salt...just the amount between the thumb and index finger is fine.

Blessings,
Zoe
