hi larry...i found after day 3 or 4 the hunger subsided...alien lady's idea about tv commercials is dead on....perhaps you two should walk around the park and stay away from the circus of picadilly!!!! i had a slump last saturday where i went out and purchased produce in anticipation of ending fast (that was about day12).. and yesterday i had 2 psyllium shakes....hummmm...i guess saturdays are my slump days!!!anyway back to strictly m/c.....as far as de-tox goes..there's a post.... i think in FAQ about de-tox stages....i've also noted that lots of ppl get 'cranky' and short tempered initially...not to worry...it passes...i feel better than i have in years....good luck....kate
