I believe in life that if a person puts their mind to something they can do anything they want....anything...

they might have to go to prison---BUT they can do anything they want!!!! They might not get away with it , BUT they can do anything they want. They might get sick , BUT they can do anything they want. They might hurt someone or themselves,BUT they can do anything they want. They may not master their being, But they can do anything they want...

Tweak as you will, though don't expect the same results. Stanley didn't invent
the formulas,they have been around a lot longer than that. And proven results have been realized by tens of 1000s probably more.

If you modify the formula:

YOU ARE N-O-T DOING A MASTER CLEANSER FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purist, I guess you can call me that,in fact , please do. All I can say is modifying the cleanse is like a joke being told and passed on. By the time it reaches the 10th person, it is nothing close to the original and the 'punchline' totally destroyed. It takes going back to the original to get the laugh. I want as many as possible to have the finest experience with the Master-Cleanse and sticking to the program ensures optimum results and SAFETY!! I want everyone to laugh I want everyone to be happy and be believers like me in a great fast.

IF one is so bent on having it their way ,go ahead...

For me , the sacrifice of good taste and comfort enhances the cleanse for me spiritually. I'm not sure the 'famous fasters' of the world would be so concerned with what flavors they can add to make their fast 'enjoyable'. Time to pay your dues. I guess many wish they could do a 'drive-thru' Master Cleanse and just rinse out and then go back to they way they were living, and a year later, go back to the wash...and/or try another diet,again...I had a dream one time ,waking up ,saying out loud," In order to be truly successful, you have to be willing to bleed". I don't know if someone else said that, yet that is what my dream manifested to me.

Hmmm, maybe I wish that the biggest challenge in life for me was getting down the salt water, or that maple syrup is too sweet , or lemon makes my mouth tingle, or my senna is too bitter, or it's too much of a hassle to make fresh lemonade each time I drink it, or driving to the health food store during rush hour takes too long to buy organic, or pure water is too expensive, or my butt burns, or I have a date so I have to quit, or I have a business meeting and I don't want to be noticable,or I can stop eating for 21 days but I really need my cigarettes, or I cheated just one time and had a sandwich,or Thanksgiving is in two weeks so it's not convenient,or Charmin 12 packs go on sale next week so I'll start then.... or...or...or...or...

I am proud to be a 'purist' and will hold strong until I see proven research to show me otherwise that the formula is wrong and should be modified. There is logical reasoning to each aspect and it works perfectly for me and tens of 1000s of others. It is a fine balance that I am personally not willing to sacrifice my health for by changing it. I don't have the time to waste researching or improving on something that works perfect the way it is.

Until I see the facts, I will not give in to the whims of flavor or try to improve on the results by modifying what has been tested, proven and experienced by myself and many others as being perfect. I have learned from fasting, so many things...I have learned NOT TO BE A PRISONER to my whims,desires and the whims of others. Try it sometime...it may work for you ,too. I'm blue in the face for other's well being not mine. I am content ...

Master Cleanse=mastering yourself...I dare you, dare yourself, It's ok to conform...

My mom used to give us salt water when we were kids, to make us throw up when we ate something we shouldn't have...try getting past that...I did,and I am stubborn!
I am king of the non-conformists,hence my nickname:Detour, tagged on to me by my life long friends and old classmates because I always have a better way. Always.
It's not easy for me to conceed! Yet I do...I won't conceed to whims anymore, though.

Be logical not whimsical! The whims put most of us on this forum in the first place.
Be in control of your whims not visa versa.

Maybe I'm too logical...
