I have definitely been extra sensitive during the cleanse. Yesterday I felt like all that would help cleanse me was a good cry. Emotions are often attached to food - so when you are letting go of these issues, and working to the root of what the problem is it is tough. I find myself having very high highs on the cleanse & pretty low lows! But... it sounds like your friend has a great support in you - and that is key. I would have quit days ago I think without the support of people around me and this board as a resource. So keep at it - once you are through the storm - there is always sun... sometimes even a rainbow!
