Thank you for your responses, they've been very useful.

About what Zoe said (that Somer's account of hair loss was the only one on the forum, so it's either that hair loss is rare or that people don't talk about it), I think it could be about the fact that not as many members have attempted a long fast (30+ days). I keep reading posts about people completing 14 and 21 day fasts but 30 and above is rare. Maybe the reason hair loss is rarely mentioned is that few people have got to the point where they would experience any. Which tells me 2 weeks, 3 at the most is a safe period. I'll go for 2 weeks and then do the 10/10 rotation to be on the safe side. I'll report if anything goes wrong anyway.
