A trick that works for me on the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) (to make it less nauseating) is to put all the salt in 1c of the water and drinkg the rest of the 3c immediately following. I can usually gulp a full cup down without breathing and then wash it down with regular water before I even taste a thing.

Also are you using Sea Salt ?
