25 years ago R/O systems were popular and we noticed people having mono.......was it because of their R/O system?

I do not know..

MAGNET books suggest placing a magnet (south side) on your water jug as a method to increase HYDROGEN---this does not seem to cause mono----------so it is a subject few could prove 1 way or the other.

Otherwise R/O systems use filters that must be replaced, which means they are dirty day 1 and drinking filtered water never a good idea.
