Fenbendazole DOES cross the blood brain barrier. The information claiming otherwise is incorrect.
When I began taking Fenbendazole as a parasite cleanse, the first few days there was noticeably increased circulation and more 'clear thinking' so I would conclude as stated in the following study that FBZ does cross the blood brain barrier. Why would someone claim otherwise? Uncertain but I have read that mebendazole which is currently being trialed in cancer treatment is very expensive in comparison to FBZ. Is it about the money? Could be as that often seems to be the standard bearer when it comes to health 'care'.
From the study on page 12: Fenbendazole (FBZ), a widely-used veterinary Benzimidazoles BZD, has been used to successfully treat intracranial parasites in dogs emphasizing that FBZ can cross the blood-brain-barrier (BBB) and is able to reach levels within the central nervous system (CNS) adequate for its anti-parasitic action. / Fatty meals are usually included to increase absorption in humans.
