RELIGION and GOD are 2 different things (but nobody REALLY HAS THE HABIT of making the distinction).

RELIGION is like a list of requirement for becoming a boy scout, etc.

We do not serve GOD…because He is not our MASTER, He is FATHER to us.


God tells us that under the eternal covenant, we have been adopted as SONS (but of course, we still serve His PURPOSE and goal).

He tells us that we have been adopted as “SONS” and are predestined by the eternal covenant as SONS (but we will still serve Him as a SON of the FATHER)…………..(He did not come to be served).

This is not a standard teaching but have no objection to being predestined (nobody should, but it’s your choice).
