So, to be honest my mother got all into Iodine after reading "the Iodine crisis" any made sure I knew all about how important it was for mothers to get enough iodine. She got me a jar or iodoral which I occasionally took a tablet of two from for several months. Fast forward to now. Now I am prego,"9 weeks" and I have been...kind of doing the same thing, just taking a 12.5mg tablet, or a half, when i think about it. This has probably been 1-2x per week. Anyway this week I accidently took a tablet three days in a row. And this morning may have experienced a slight *bathroom* side effect. Of course now I'm paranoid that I've done something drasticly wrong. I did not know about the dangers of detoxing....and TBH, I do not want to study too much into the gory details of what can go wrong with detoxing. But... should I be worried? I should say that I've been eating pretty strictly WAPF guidelines for the last several years, and had been doing a few months of intermittant fasting before I we got pregnant.....I would think that my toxin load shouldn't be too bad.... but should I be worried?
