Hi there. I have not had success with any of the eyedrops I mentioned because none of them, with the exception of NAC, are available and I have no means to make any of the others. I managed to get reduced glutathione, but with reduced glutathione, it was found back in the 1960s that 50% of patients improve and 50% get worse, and I was in the unlucky group. I also tried NAC (N-acetyl carnosine) which is widely available on the Net and got a worsening of my cataracts, in fact more yellowing of vision. The reason for that was shown by Abdelkader et al at Queen Mary College, London, in 2010. They showed that NAC, in the presence of metal ions, abolishes the photobleaching action of glutathione, hence the increased yellowing of vision. This drawback was overcome by another eyedrop in the list, C-KAD, where the metal chelating agent EDTA was added. Then, NAC no longer interfered with the photobleaching action of glutathione and the cataracts improved. This was proven 2 years earlier by a clinical trial of C-KAD in 2008, in which of 111 cataract patients, 43% had a significant improvement of vision within a few months. But despite its good results, C-KAD was ignored by the eye profession, and the same applies to all the other eyedrops in the list, which clearly demonstrated cataract reversal on human lenses or in animal models in the lab. Some of them were shown to even reverse advanced cataract. None of them were ever taken further, as they should have been.
