Hi, I'm a 29 year old fit male who has been experiencing stomach discomfort, flatulence, odd coloured stools and a dry itchy skin rash on lower leg and foot for several months now. I also have an issue with having to wipe hours after a bowel movement too which has been going on for some years now. It started after having a big weekend where I consumed alot of beer. I had a blood test for pancreatitis but it came back negative, ultrasound on my organs which all were fine and also had a fecal fat stool test which came back normal. My stool was also tested for h pylori, which was also negative but it did come up positive for some type of aeromonas. My doctor said the aeromonas was unlikely to be causing this issue as I'm not having diarrhoea, and assumed it was a stomach ulcer and put me on lansoprazole for 8 weeks. It definitely helped with the stomach discomfort but I'm still having some issues after discontinuing. I finished my course of lansoprazole and a week later and got a blocked saliva gland which I was prescribed amiloxyn for (I'm on my last tablet now). My stools are still very odd colour and consistency which has me worried. Could it be the aeromonas causing my issues or possibly something else? Here is a photo of my most recent stool (sorry it's gross)
