It's funny that I just posted my experience last night. The "threadlike" items you show are the same ones I saw emerge from my skin and body month after month. The red-blue-black thread things--considered indicative of Morgellon's? I believe they're egg casings from parasitic worm species.

I am nearing the end of a massive hyperinfection of Strongyloides, flukes, and hookworms. Everything that your family and Flutterby have gone through is real, and I feel for you! You are by no means alone, as there are at least 300,000 people on this planet (Morgellon's sufferers) who report the same skin issues and show the same threadlike fibers. Strongyloides worms are tiny and clear--virtually invisible. They can move faster than any scalpel used for a skin biopsy. That's my two cents, any way.
