There are at least two major problems associated with biliary congestion (gallstones). The first is the myriad illnesses associated with improper detoxification (pretty much anything metabolic; blood Sugar issues; heart disease; poor motility). The second is pain, either direct abdominal pain, or referred pain along liver and gallbladder meridians (example: right shoulder blade pain; headaches). Most liver flushers experience a combination of pain and metabolic issues, with the presentation being unique to the individual.

After 19 flushes, I can say that my metabolic issues are maybe fifty percent better. I have better energy, better sleep (but not perfect), clearer thinking (most of the time), and my digestion is amazing. Most of these improvements started to kick in around the tenth liver flush. My abdominal pain and referred pain have not diminished at all, causing me to suspect there are stones in my gallbladder and parts of my liver. I continue to get stones out with every flush, and have started seeing white stones recently which are most likely from the gallbladder. It took a year to start seeing these different stones. I expect to flush a total of fifty times (or more) before my health improves completely.

If the flush causes insomnia, two things come to mind. First, removing stones from the liver can cause a number of side effects that generally go away after a day or two, including emotional disturbances and sleep disturbances. This may be unavoidable. That being said, I recommend you try using magnesium citrate instead of Epsom Salts . Epsom Salts are incredibly harsh on the body and taste dreadful. Magnesium citrate tastes much better and will not give you "butt pee." You will also not suffer any loss of electrolytes. If you are concerned about getting the flush waste out of your colon, an enema will do the trick, but I've never done this and prefer to allow things to come out over the next day or two.

Best of luck!
