Thanks for that detailed reply! I have taken Chinese herbs and received acupuncture over long periods of time, with no improvement. Also took gold coin grass, milk thistle and the other herbs you mentioned, in addition to Liv52 formula and other ayurvedic herbs. I did a 21 day panchakarma last year with no improvement.
I'll check out udca and the cleanse you mentioned.
