Be careful when you hear that some medical intervention has "no side effects."

Everything is toxic at some sufficient dose or if taken incorrectly or in someone who is unusually sensitive to it.

Silver is a potentially toxic mineral. That does not mean it is not potentially useful, especially if taken for a short time. People take terrible chemotherapy drugs because they have a very deadly cancer. The Chemo is a deadly poison too.

There are some heartwarming stories from burn victims and some others who have used silver effectively.

Is silver the best intervention available?

Is a lack of silver the possible underlying cause--probably not.

For a viral infection there are more likely issues--deficiencies in vitamin C, D zinc, etc.
