I forgot to mention, years ago I had cavitation surgery performed at all four wisdom tooth sites and the infections returned within one year. The surgeon was known for being one of the best holistic dentists to perform this type of surgery in Scottsdale.

I learned a couple of important lessons from this surgery:

1. Any active viral infections, especially a retroviral infections, can prevent successful treatment to infected teeth or cavitations. So, one needs to address this issue by taking appropriate anti-viral(s) & building up the immune system.
Examples of anti virals: high quality olive leaf supplement, Lomatium, Monolaurin/Lauricidin, etc.... There are many effective herbs and supplements to treat viral infections.

2. Oil pulling with oregano oil/sesame seed oil can heal cavitations though, I would probably add other essential oils (clove, peppermint, thyme and a thieves blend; and, probably frankincense and myrrh). I would also apply oregano/clove/peppermint neat onto the infected tooth/gum throughout the day and keep the mouth alkaline with a pinch of Sea Salt (throughout the day) or another alkalizer to prevent any bacteria from growing (they are active in an acidic mouth).
