Anybody know what the hell this thing is? I don’t think it’s texhnically a worm. it’s segmented, and covered with overlapping scales for armor playing. I’ve crapped out probably a dozen of these things now, ranging from less than 1/2” diameter and 4-6” long and as big as nearly 1.5” diameter and 8-10” long. The scales, coverings have ranged from dark gray to greenish gray, to thisnone being what looks like the youngest, just made it to adulthood when praziquantel, fenbendazole, and a couple doses of Moxidectin killed it off The scolex/head of this one is anlittle over 1/2” diameter, and the body length is around 6-7” long. This if the first one with really green scales, all previous ones have been darker and more gray.
i know Ive got at least one more large one in me because the damn thing is fluttering in my left side right now, feels like it’s trying to swim/climb up my sigmoid colon trying to make it back to small intestine, I hope it’s hungry because I took a second dose of Moxidectin this morning, that’s all I dare to take for now since this stuff has a 23 day half life (super long) and I’ve probably put nearly 40 mg of it into my body since Friday evening.
The Mansonella Ozzardi seem to be parasitizing it in lieu of their normal intermediate host to complete a full reproductive cycle inside me, hundreds of newly developed adults and baby Mansonellas can be seen in various states of emerging from inside the segments of these creatures . The Mansonella almost look more like plants than worms in this stage too, it’s wierd as hell and I’ve never seen or heard of anything like this before in my life,
The head has a really evil looking face on it. Does this thing belong in the Sea? It damn sure doesn’t belong in me. I think I’m finally slowly getting rid of them, but not quickly enough.... I want them all gone and I want it now!
