If you have been suffering and fighting a bad multiple worm species infestation for a while, and now basically have a kind of PTSD from seeing too many worms and worm shapes, so that anything remotely shaped very close to a worm or fluke tends to trigger anxiety in you, then....

Public Service Announcement: if you attend any state or local fairs or carnivals this autumn, you might not want to buy any Funnel Cakes, the deep fried, powdered Sugar covered treats ubiquitous with fairs and carnivals that are held typically every fall across the USA.
No there are not (not supposed to be anyway) any worms in the cakes themselves, but the shapes made from dispensing the cake batter through a small metal funnel into the deep fry hot oil tends to make a myriad of shapes that are often remarkably wormlike... And just think what reaction you might have if you try to eat some of this cake and recognize such shapes as you're almost about to put it into your mouth.
Yeah, it might just bother you a little bit when your brain suddenly registers "I'm fixin' to eat me some deep fried Sugar sprinkled worms".... or it might bother you a whole lot. I dumped my paper plate full of fresh hot funnel cake right into the garbage can and successfully convinced myself not to hurl in front of a large number of strangers in public. What was I thinking? I don't need to be eating such sugary junkfood anyway. This concludes my hopefully useful pubic service announcement.
