I have been reading quite a lot about Iodine recently and just received my first bottle of Iodine and selenium. I read that when taking Iodine you should take selenium, zinc, magnesium and a B vitamin.
I have a very severe case of dyshidrosis which I believe is being caused by my body not being able to detoxify itself and it comes out on my feet and hands.
My question is, I feel like I am being counterproductive by taking iodine to detox metals and then adding zinc and magnesium to go along with the iodine. Is taking zinc and magnesium safe when your body has a tough time eliminating metals?
