I would like to treat a Uterine Fibroid with Iodine and I've seen many success stories. My doctor is trying to put me on Lupron to shrink the growths, but I don't want to go on it. I feel like the longterm effects of it probably aren't worth it. I'm wondering if painting my uterus with DMSO/ Iodine would work? I feel like the DMSO would increase absorption of the Iodine on the skin. Has anyone tried it? I'm nervous to drink the Lugol's 5% that I have. I have done 12.5 mg, but the higher doses reported by others really make me quite nervous. I tried the original Vitalzym, but feel like my fibroids got worse. I plan on just using Serrapeptase instead to assist. I also take 10,000 mg of Vit. D. My doctor says I will need a hysterectomy if I don't use the Lupron. Feedback would be appreciated.
