Confessing something and hoping to believe it, is not biblical. That is the power of positive thinking. The power of positive thinking is not biblical. That is a power I do not wish to follow. It may even be witchcraft for some who follow this path. I do not want to become involved with this dangerous activity.

Confessing what we believe is biblical. I believe it, therefore I speak it. We must get a word from heaven. I believe in confessing scripture because I believe scripture is truth. I confess what illuminates in my heart. This illumination may come to me all of a sudden. It may come to me as I read scripture. It may come to me as I meditate on the Lord and His word. It may come to me in prayer, but it must come.
