I would not use albendazole and prazi especially on young children , also albendazole prazi combo is more fore tapes and flukes not roundworm treatment , ivermectin is fine (gold standard for roundworms ) at .2 mg per kg , also strongyloides has a unique ability to encyst where most meds don’t target and they re-emerge when population declines or when encysted run out of hibernation time frame , also bet u weren’t dosing properly with mebendazole as proper treatment is 10 mg per kg 3 consecutive days every 2 weeks most dose 100 mg twice a day , which is enough for small child not grown adult . Children should be wormed with ivermectin no more than every other day no less than once a week , they have simple infections due to there young age and don’t drink alcohol and rare for children to be given steroids , strongyloides and similar species need both ivermectin 1 week and mebendazole or fenbendazole following week , repeat till symptoms are gone which can takes months or years depending on severity of infection and or specific species involved , doxy or similar tetracycline is very important when treating roundworm infections as worms require bacteria for digestion and repopulation
